Finding your musical voice

Teaching has been my passion for more than 20 years! I enjoy working with all ages and levels of experience. Below is just some of what I offer in each lesson. My goal is to help you become a more independent musician and find your voice.

Debby, adult, piano

I've been a student of Stacie's for four years, having returned to piano lessons after many years. Stacie has been an inspiring, supportive and fun teacher, always aiming to bring out the best in her students.

Eliza, age 10, voice

Stacie is amazing! Every time I have a lesson I always look forward to it! Stacie has taught me how to use my voice and has pushed me to be more confident. I am so happy that I have her as my voice teacher! Every time I walk into the studio, she welcomes me with a big friendly smile! I love to sing, and there’s not many people who I feel comfortable sharing my voice with. Stacie is a wonderful person and teacher!

Charlotte, college student, voice

Stacie helped me find my voice and sharpen it in ways that I didn't know I could. Even though I only worked with Stacie for one summer, I am more confident and ready to face any vocal challenge sent my way.

Ava, age 15, voice & piano

I began studying with Stacie towards the end of seventh grade, and it has been life changing. She has taught me so many things about music literacy, theory, piano and singing! I appreciate the way she teaches with enthusiasm, positivity and I value her opinion. It has been quite a pleasure to have someone to connect and collaborate with concerning the classical music that I adore very much. I enjoy our talks, our laughs, and my achievements from the goals we set. She has a warm heart and a spectacular voice! Stacie teaches me to never give up when failure strikes. I am a perfectionist, but Stacie brings me out of my comfort zone and broadens my musical diversity while giving me endless support and assurance. She has brought me true acceptance of myself.

Raffi, age 10, piano

Stacie is a great teacher because she helps me learn a lot and she keeps it fun. Some teachers are seriously all the time but Stacie knows how to make the fundamentals fun. She is interested in music I like while helping me learn.  I also enjoy the opportunities to play at events that she gives me like at the nursing home.
